Dafras

Raphael Dafras, born on May 22, 1984, is a renowned Brazilian bassist, producer, and composer, widely recognized for his work in the metal scene. He began gaining international prominence by producing the first solo album of Germán Pascual, former vocalist of the Swedish band Narnia, in 2011.

In 2012, Raphael joined the band ALMAH, led by Edu Falaschi, former vocalist of Angra. With ALMAH, he recorded the albums Unfold (2013) and E.V.O (2016), both received with enthusiasm by critics. During the Unfold tour, the band played at major festivals, including Rock in Rio, and performed in various countries across Europe, Latin America, the United States, and several cities in Brazil.

In addition to his work with ALMAH, Raphael has collaborated with other renowned artists and bands. He recorded with Harmony, a Swedish metal band, participating in the albums Theatre of Redemption (2014) and Remembrance (2015). Since 2017, he has been the bassist for Edu Falaschi’s solo band, with whom he recorded the EP The Glory of the Sacred Truth (2018) and the albums Vera Cruz (2021) and Temple of Shadows in Concert (2020).

Raphael has also participated in projects such as No Other God and Navighator. He is known for his technical and versatile style, being considered one of the best bassists in Brazil, with recognition from Roadie Crew magazine, one of the largest in Latin America.

This diverse trajectory has established him as an important name in the metal scene, both in Brazil and internationally.
